Resident Assistant - Full Time PM
About The Position
Home Again is hiring a Resident Assistant to help create a warm, welcoming, and caring environment for residents. The role involves providing compassionate support with personal care, daily activities, meals, mobility, and resident engagement while contributing to the smooth operation of the community. This position is offered for full-time PM-shift hours, with part-time hours also available. The PM shift runs from 2:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. Candidates must be at least 16 years old and successfully pass a background check and drug screening before employment, in accordance with state regulations and company policy. Requirements
- Must be at least 16 years old.
- A caring heart and genuine desire to work with older adults and people with physical challenges.
- A positive attitude and ability to stay calm under pressure.
- Strong communication skills and a teamwork mindset.
- Must successfully pass a background check and drug screening prior to employment.
Responsibilities
- Provide kind, respectful, and compassionate care to residents.
- Assist residents with bathing, dressing, grooming, and daily activities.
- Help residents with meals, dining, and mobility, including wheelchair or walking assistance.
- Offer friendly reminders about meals and activities.
- Respond to resident call lights with care and urgency.
- Engage residents in Life Enrichment activities.
- Support the team with other tasks that help the community run smoothly.
