Resident Assistant - Full Time PM
About The Position
Home Again is seeking a Resident Assistant to help create a warm, welcoming, and caring environment for residents. The role involves providing compassionate support to older adults and people with physical challenges, assisting with personal care and daily activities, supporting meals and mobility, responding to call lights, and engaging residents in Life Enrichment activities. The position is offered with part-time and full-time hours. The listed PM shift is 2:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. Candidates must be at least 16 years old and pass a background check and drug screening before employment.
Requirements
- Must be at least 16 years old.
- Have a caring heart and a genuine desire to work with older adults and people with physical challenges.
- Maintain a positive attitude and stay calm under pressure.
- Have strong communication skills and a teamwork mindset.
- Successfully pass a background check and drug screening before employment, in accordance with state regulations and company policy.
Responsibilities
- Provide kind, respectful, and compassionate care to residents.
- Assist residents with bathing, dressing, grooming, and daily activities.
- Help with meals and dining, and provide mobility support, including wheelchair or walking assistance.
- Offer friendly reminders about meals and activities.
- Respond to resident call lights with care and urgency.
- Engage residents in Life Enrichment activities.
- Support the team with other tasks that help the community run smoothly.
