About The Position
Home Again is hiring Resident Assistants to help create a warm, welcoming, and caring environment for residents. The role involves providing compassionate personal care and support with daily activities, meals, mobility, and resident engagement. Resident Assistants also respond to call lights and assist with other tasks that help the community run smoothly. Part-time and full-time hours are available across first, second, and third shifts.
Requirements
- Have a caring heart and a genuine desire to work with older adults and people with physical challenges.
- Maintain a positive attitude and stay calm under pressure.
- Have strong communication skills and a teamwork mindset.
- Be at least 16 years old.
Responsibilities
- Provide kind, respectful, and compassionate care to residents.
- Assist residents with bathing, dressing, grooming, and daily activities.
- Help residents with meals and dining, and provide mobility support, including wheelchair or walking assistance.
- Offer friendly reminders about meals and activities.
- Respond to resident call lights with care and urgency.
- Engage residents in Life Enrichment activities.
- Support the team with other tasks that help the community run smoothly.
