Resident Assistant/Medication Manager 1st shift Full-time
About The Position
WesleyLife is hiring a Resident Assistant/Medication Manager to help support residents and improve their aging experience. The role administers medications according to prescribed schedules and medication management protocols, assists residents with daily living activities, monitors residents’ health and well-being, and maintains documentation of medication administration and resident care. The posted opening is full-time on the first shift, from 6:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., at the community in Washington, Iowa. Starting pay is based on years of experience. Pre-hire screening includes a health assessment and a four-panel drug screen.
Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years of age to pass medication.
- One year of previous Assisted Living or long-term care (LTC) experience.

Responsibilities
- Administer medications to residents according to prescribed schedules, ensuring accuracy and adherence to medication management protocols.
- Assist residents with daily living activities, including grooming, dressing, and meal preparation, while promoting independence and well-being.
- Monitor residents’ health and well-being and promptly report changes or concerns to healthcare professionals and family members.
- Maintain accurate documentation of medication administration and resident care activities in compliance with regulatory standards and protocols.
