Resident Assistant/Medication Manager 1st shift Part-time
About The Position

The Resident Assistant/Medication Manager administers medications according to prescribed schedules and medication management protocols, assists residents with daily living activities, monitors residents’ health and well-being, and documents medication administration and resident care in compliance with regulatory standards. The position is part-time, first shift, from 6:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., at the community located at 1015 S Iowa Ave, Washington, IA 52353. Starting pay is based on years of experience. Pre-hire screening includes a health assessment and a four-panel drug screen.
Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years old to pass medication.
- One year of previous Assisted Living or long-term care experience.
- Complete a pre-hire health assessment and four-panel drug screen.
Responsibilities
- Administer medications to residents according to prescribed schedules, ensuring accuracy and adherence to medication management protocols.
- Assist residents with daily living activities, including grooming, dressing, and meal preparation, while promoting independence and well-being.
- Monitor residents’ health and well-being, and promptly report changes or concerns to healthcare professionals and family members.
- Maintain accurate documentation of medication administration and resident care activities in compliance with regulatory standards and protocols.
