About The Position

The Resident Assistant/Medication Manager administers medications according to prescribed schedules and medication-management protocols, supports residents with activities of daily living, monitors their health and well-being, and documents medication administration and resident care in accordance with regulatory standards. This full-time position is for the second shift, 2:00 p.m.–10:30 p.m., at the community located at 1015 S Iowa Ave, Washington, IA 52353. Starting pay is based on years of experience. Shift differentials are $3.00 per hour for second shift, $4.00 per hour for third shift, and $1.00 per hour for weekends. Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years old to pass medications.
- At least one year of previous assisted living or long-term care experience.

Responsibilities
- Administer medications to residents according to prescribed schedules, ensuring accuracy and adherence to medication-management protocols.
- Assist residents with daily living activities, including grooming, dressing, and meal preparation, while promoting independence and well-being.
- Monitor residents’ health and well-being and promptly report changes or concerns to healthcare professionals and family members.
- Maintain accurate documentation of medication administration and resident care activities in compliance with regulatory standards and protocols.
