Resident Assistant/Medication Manager 1st shift Part-time
About The Position
WesleyLife is hiring a Resident Assistant/Medication Manager to administer medications to residents according to prescribed schedules, ensuring accuracy and adherence to medication management protocols. The role also involves assisting residents with daily living activities, such as grooming, dressing, and meal preparation, to promote independence and well-being. The assistant monitors residents’ health and well-being, reports changes or concerns to healthcare professionals and family members, and maintains accurate documentation of medication administration and resident care in compliance with regulatory standards and protocols. The available position is part-time, first shift, from 6:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. The community is located at 1015 S Iowa Ave, Washington, IA 52353. Starting pay is based on years of experience. Candidates must complete a pre-hire health assessment and a four-panel drug screen.
Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years of age to pass medication.
- One year of previous assisted living or long-term care experience.
- Complete a pre-hire health assessment and four-panel drug screen.
Responsibilities
