About The Position

Resettlement case management interns support IRC’s resettlement team with daily work that welcomes refugees, asylees, and other humanitarian immigrants and promotes their self-sufficiency in the Baltimore metropolitan area. Interns work directly with clients and families to help deliver resettlement services. The Spring 2027 internship is hybrid, combining work in a standard office environment, remote work, and field time in the greater Baltimore area. Interns must complete a required orientation on January 27, 2027, and then work at least 15 hours per week for 14 weeks, through May 16, 2027. Interns should be able to come to the office at least three days per week. An IRC laptop is provided for the duration of the internship. This is an unpaid position and is not eligible for benefits. Spring 2027 interns are eligible for a per diem of $15 per day, defined as 7.5 hours, to offset food and travel costs. Mileage for approved activities may also be reimbursed based on round-trip mileage from the IRC office. University credit may be arranged.
