About The Position

The Reservation Agent supports customers, field team members, and U-Haul dealerships through reservation placement and equipment distribution. Under the direction of the Traffic Control Manager, the role helps manage equipment and reservations, directs incoming customer equipment to areas according to demand and productivity status, and supports regional inventory balance and future demand. The position also assists with U-Haul’s U-Box portable storage product. This is an in-office position in New Orleans, Louisiana.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent.
Working knowledge of office equipment, including multiline phones, phone etiquette, Word, and email.
Proficiency in customer service, time management, and multitasking.
Must be legally authorized to work in the United States and must not require employer sponsorship.

Responsibilities

Assist with calls from and to customers.
Support field team members and U-Haul dealerships with equipment and reservation management and placement.
Direct incoming customers' equipment to areas based on customer demand and productivity status to help balance regional market inventory and meet future demand.
Review reports used to support effective equipment placement, customer reservations, and contracts, and to maintain equipment availability and accuracy.
Assist with the U-Box portable storage product.
