About The Position

U-Haul is hiring an in-office, part-time Reservation Agent in Fresno, California. Under the direction of the Traffic Control Manager, the Reservation Agent supports customers, field team members, and U-Haul dealerships through reservation placement and equipment distribution. The role involves customer calls, reservation and equipment management, directing equipment according to demand and productivity, reviewing reports related to equipment placement and reservations, and assisting with U-Box portable storage. Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States and must not require employer sponsorship.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent.
Working knowledge of office equipment, including multiline phones, phone etiquette, Word, and email.
Proficiency in customer service, time management, and multitasking.
Legally authorized to work in the United States without requiring employer sponsorship.

Responsibilities

Assist with calls from and to customers.
Support field team members and U-Haul dealerships with equipment and reservation management and placement.
Direct incoming customer equipment to areas based on customer demand and productivity status to help balance regional market inventory and meet future demand.
Review reports that support effective equipment placement, customer reservations, contracts, equipment availability, and accuracy.
Assist with the U-Box portable storage product.
