As an R&D Intern, you will gain hands-on experience supporting product innovation, development, testing, and continuous improvement initiatives within a global consumer goods company. Internship assignments will vary based on business needs, team placement, and individual interests.

Requirements

Currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Chemical, Electrical, Computer Science, Industrial, Manufacturing or Materials Engineering, Chemistry, Materials Science, Packaging, Product Development, or a related technical field.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills.
Effective written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and work both independently and collaboratively.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Demonstrated interest in product innovation, research, design, or technical problem-solving.

Nice To Haves

Completed Sophomore, Junior, or Senior year in undergraduate studies pertaining to internship job function
GPA of 3.0 or higher
Internship or work experience preferred
Has a proven record of demonstrating the following skills: Problem-solving and decision making, Collaboration and teamwork, Leadership, significant position preferred, Achieving results, Creativity
Demonstrated project management skills and ability to balance multiple assignments at once
Desire to make a strong contribution in a continuous learning environment, while enhancing their readiness for a full-time career
Available to work 40 hours/week for 12 weeks; duration of internship (May 17- August 6, 2027)

Responsibilities

Supporting product development, innovation, and research projects.
Assisting with product design, testing, prototyping, and evaluation activities.
Conducting research, data analysis, and competitive assessments to support business decisions.
Collaborating with cross-functional teams to develop and improve products, processes, and technologies.
Assisting with documentation, reporting, and presentation of project findings and recommendations.
Supporting efforts to enhance product performance, quality, cost, and overall consumer experience.
