About The Position

Style Encore is a women's clothing resale store offering gently used name brands and new styles at discounted prices. The company buys clothing in all seasons, all day, and pays selling customers cash on the spot. The Resale Boutique Associate helps customers and selling customers in a positive, supportive retail environment by providing professional service, buying and pricing merchandise, and processing transactions.

Requirements

• Proven retail customer service skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to stand and walk for up to 8 hours a day.
• Ability to lift up to 40 lbs. without assistance; heavier lifting may be done with assistance from a team member or a cart/dolly.
• Ability to bend, rotate, and reach as customary in a retail environment, including when receiving, pricing, and stocking or back-stocking merchandise.
• Ability to operate a computerized sales terminal.

Nice To Haves

• Prior retail experience in similar product lines; the company is willing to train the right candidate.

Responsibilities

• Exhibit appropriate retail selling and buying behaviors.
• Greet customers promptly, determine their needs, and handle transactions professionally and enthusiastically.
• Buy and price used products according to pricing and buying guidelines.
• Develop proficiency with the computerized Point of Sale (POS) and sales tracking system for sales, buys, returns, and other transactions.
