Reporting Specialist

Luster National•San Francisco, CA
•$80,000 - $145,000

About The Position

Luster is building a talent pool of Reporting Specialists at various skill levels for future roles supporting large, complex heavy-civil infrastructure programs, including highway, road, bridge, transit, aviation, and water/wastewater projects delivered through traditional and alternative delivery methods. This is not tied to a specific currently available opportunity. Applicants may be interviewed in advance of hiring needs, and selected candidates may be activated in the specialty talent pool and notified first when a project need arises. Reporting Specialists prepare recurring monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting packages for program leadership, funding agencies, and oversight bodies. The role manages the reporting cycle, gathers and verifies information from program teams and source systems, resolves discrepancies, maintains version control and supporting records, and delivers defensible reporting packages on schedule. Depending on experience, the scope and complexity of the work may increase. Roles focused primarily on data models, queries, and dashboards may be a better fit for the data analyst bank; those primarily focused on plans, procedures, and controlled documents may be a better fit for the technical writer bank. The position requires a bachelor’s degree in a related field or an equivalent combination of education and experience, plus at least five years of program or project reporting experience on large, complex heavy-civil infrastructure projects valued above $500 million. The expected salary range is $80,000–$145,000 per year ($38–$70 per hour), depending on factors including experience, skills, education, certifications, and geographic location. Luster states its commitment to an inclusive work environment and equal consideration for qualified applicants. Positions may be subject to a background check and drug test following a conditional offer, consistent with applicable regulations. Candidates may request accommodations for the application process by emailing [email protected].
