Reporting Specialist

Open Influence•Los Angeles, CA
•$80,000 - $100,000

About The Position

Open Influence is seeking a highly analytical, detail-oriented Reporting Specialist to support a complex, diamond-tier client account. The role is part of the Account Management team but is not a traditional client-management position: it does not independently manage the client relationship or oversee campaign execution. Instead, the Reporting Specialist serves as the account’s reporting and operational backbone, owning data collection, developing performance reports, coordinating high-volume content approval workflows, and helping the account team work efficiently. The position suits someone who enjoys working with data, understands how paid and organic media work together, and can create structure across complex, fast-moving programs. The specialist collaborates with senior account leadership and cross-functional partners to analyze campaign performance, identify trends and optimization opportunities, produce reporting and business reviews, and communicate findings and recommendations, including in client-facing settings when needed. The role is open to hybrid or fully remote work within the United States. The expected salary range is $80,000–$100,000 USD, depending on experience.

Requirements

  • 3–5 years of experience in data analytics, synthesis, and reporting; marketing, advertising, or creator marketing experience is preferred.
  • Professional experience developing advertising, marketing, or media performance reports.
  • Strong understanding of paid and organic media KPIs and their interpretation within a larger campaign strategy.
  • Experience working with large data sets and translating quantitative findings into concise insights and recommendations.
  • Familiarity with performance metrics such as ROAS, CTR, CPM, CPE, engagement rate, video completion, conversions, and other full-funnel indicators.
  • Strong project-management skills and experience coordinating complex workflows with multiple stakeholders, deliverables, and deadlines.
  • Highly proactive, extremely organized, and able to manage several projects simultaneously.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the polish and confidence to contribute to client-facing reporting conversations.
  • Strong experience working with Google Sheets and Google Slides.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience building influencer or creator marketing reports is strongly preferred.
  • Experience working in an advertising agency, media agency, or similarly fast-paced marketing environment is preferred.
  • Automotive industry experience is a significant plus.

Responsibilities

  • Manage creator authentication and ensure accurate, timely collection of organic performance data.
  • Develop project-by-project campaign reports across multiple concurrent creator programs.
  • Partner with senior account leadership to develop monthly performance recaps and strategic quarterly business reviews.
  • Analyze large and complex data sets to identify trends, performance drivers, and optimization opportunities.
  • Evaluate organic and paid media performance, including reach, impressions, engagement, video views, click-through rate, conversion metrics, and ROAS.
  • Review reporting from cross-functional agency and media partners to understand the broader campaign ecosystem and assess creator content’s contribution to business and media outcomes.
  • Support development and refinement of reporting templates, benchmarks, and processes to make account reporting more efficient and scalable.
  • Participate in client-facing reporting presentations when needed, clearly articulating results, insights, and recommendations.
  • Proactively flag risks, delays, or data gaps that could affect campaign timelines, reporting accuracy, or client deliverables.
  • Coordinate high-volume content approval workflows and help the broader account team operate efficiently.
