About The Position

AIT Home Delivery is seeking contract repair technicians to evaluate, troubleshoot, analyze, identify, and repair fitness equipment and similar consumer products, including fitness bikes, treadmills, smart home gym systems, wine coolers, and massage chairs. The work serves customers of high-end companies, and a strong commitment to customer service is required. Contractors must provide their own transportation and tools and comply with applicable insurance, vehicle registration, and state vehicle laws. Settlements are processed weekly. Potential earnings are stated as $40,000–$100,000+, depending on volume, location, and contract work accepted.

Requirements

• Ability to read and comprehend manufacturers’ manuals and repair instructions.
• Own transportation to and from repair sites.
• Own hand and power tools, with the mechanical aptitude and experience to build products to manufacturer specifications.
• Must have an EIN (federal tax ID).
• Must comply with insurance and vehicle registration requirements and applicable state laws for the vehicle used to complete work.
• DOT/MC numbers may be required for vehicles with a GVWR over 10,000 lbs.
• Must pass background and drug screens; driving contractors must undergo an MVR check.
• Commitment to exceptional customer service.
• Tech-savvy and able to use a mobile phone, with excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate, troubleshoot, analyze, identify, and repair fitness equipment and similar products, including bikes, treadmills, smart home gym systems, wine coolers, and massage chairs.
• Provide exceptional customer service to customers of high-end companies.
• Read and follow manufacturer manuals and instructions when repairing equipment.
• Travel to repair sites using personal transportation.
• Comply with insurance, vehicle registration, and applicable state vehicle requirements.
