About The Position
AIT Home Delivery is seeking contract repair technicians to evaluate, troubleshoot, analyze, identify, and repair fitness equipment and similar consumer products, including fitness bikes, treadmills, smart home gym systems, wine coolers, and massage chairs. The work serves customers of high-end companies, so dedication to exceptional customer service is required. Contractors provide their own transportation and tools and must comply with applicable insurance, vehicle registration, and state vehicle laws. Settlements are processed weekly. Potential earnings are stated as $40,000–$100,000+, depending on volume, location, and the contract work accepted.
Requirements
- Ability to read and comprehend manufacturers’ manuals and instructions used to repair equipment.
- Own transportation to and from repair sites.
- Ownership of hand and power tools, with the experience and mechanical aptitude to build products to manufacturer specifications.
- Must have an EIN (federal tax ID).
- Comply with insurance and vehicle registration requirements and applicable state laws for the vehicle used to complete work.
- DOT/MC numbers may be required for vehicles with a GVWR over 10,000 lbs.
- Must pass background and drug screens; these also apply to helpers.
- Driving contractors must undergo an MVR check.
- Commitment to exceptional customer service.
- Tech savvy with a mobile phone and excellent communication skills.
