About The Position
AIT Home Delivery is seeking contract repair technicians for fitness equipment, wine coolers, massage chairs, and similar consumer products in Fort Wayne, Indiana. Contractors evaluate, troubleshoot, analyze, identify, and repair products for high-end client companies. Strong customer service and reliable communication are important. Potential settlements are $40,000–$100,000+ depending on work volume, location, and accepted contract work; settlements are processed weekly.
Requirements
- Ability to read and understand manufacturers’ manuals and repair instructions.
- Own transportation to and from repair sites.
- Own hand and power tools and have the experience and mechanical aptitude to build products to manufacturer specifications.
- Have an EIN (federal tax ID).
- Comply with insurance and vehicle registration requirements, applicable state vehicle laws, and DOT/MC number requirements when applicable for vehicles with a GVWR over 10,000 lbs.
- Pass background and drug screens; driving contractors must also undergo an MVR check.
- Be tech savvy with a mobile phone and have excellent communication skills.
- Be committed to providing exceptional customer service.
