Rental Yard Associate

About The Position

White Cap is hiring a Rental Yard Associate to clean, inspect, maintain, and prepare rental equipment for customers and delivery. The role involves removing dirt, concrete, and other debris using provided hand tools and cleaning equipment; ensuring equipment is in usable condition; reporting damage according to established procedures; and oiling and lubricating tools, equipment, and tilt-up braces to specifications. The associate follows company safety policies and procedures and performs other duties as assigned. The position requires lifting and carrying up to 50 pounds and standing for periods of up to and exceeding 60 minutes.

Requirements

Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
Ability to stand for periods of up to and exceeding 60 minutes.
Generally, 0–2 years of experience.

Ability to work Monday through Friday, 7:30 AM–4:00 PM.
Ability to work outdoors.
Ability to heavy lift up to 75 pounds.
Ability to safely operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment.
Knowledge of construction and industrial products.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
Knowledge of machines and hand and power tools.
Bilingual Spanish is a plus.

Responsibilities

Remove dirt, concrete, or other debris from rental equipment and the surrounding area using provided hand tools and cleaning equipment.
Ensure rental equipment is in good, usable condition before it goes to the customer.
Inspect rental equipment for damage and report damage according to established procedures.
Oil and lubricate tools, equipment, and tilt-up braces according to specifications.
Prepare and stage rental orders for delivery.
Follow company safety policies and procedures.
Perform other duties as assigned.
