About The Position
White Cap is hiring a Rental Yard Associate to help prepare rental equipment for customers. The role involves cleaning, inspecting, lubricating, and staging equipment while following company safety procedures. The position is generally suited to candidates with 0–2 years of experience and involves physical work, including lifting and standing for extended periods.
Requirements
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to stand for periods of up to and exceeding 60 minutes.
- Generally, 0–2 years of experience.
Nice To Haves
- Ability to work outdoors.
- Ability to heavy lift up to 75 pounds.
- Ability to safely operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment.
- Knowledge of construction and industrial products.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
- Knowledge of machines and hand and power tools.
- Bilingual Spanish is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Remove dirt, concrete, and other debris from rental equipment and the surrounding area using provided hand tools and cleaning equipment.
- Ensure rental equipment is in good, usable condition before it goes to a customer.
- Inspect rental equipment for damage and report damage according to established procedures.
- Oil and lubricate tools, equipment, and tilt-up braces according to specifications.
- Prepare and stage rental orders for delivery.
- Follow company safety policies and procedures.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
