About The Position

White Cap is hiring a Rental Yard Associate to clean, inspect, maintain, and prepare rental equipment and orders for customers. The role works in a physical environment and follows company safety policies and procedures. The associate may also perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Generally, 0–2 years of experience.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to stand for periods of up to and exceeding 60 minutes.

Nice To Haves

• Ability to work outdoors.
• Ability to heavy lift up to 75 pounds.
• Ability to safely operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment.
• Knowledge of construction and industrial products.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
• Knowledge of machines and hand and power tools.
• Bilingual Spanish is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Remove dirt, concrete, and other debris from rental equipment and the surrounding area using provided hand tools and cleaning equipment.
• Ensure rental equipment is in good, usable condition before it goes to the customer.
• Inspect rental equipment for damage and report damage according to established procedures.
• Oil and lubricate tools, equipment, and tilt-up braces according to specifications.
• Prepare and stage rental orders for delivery.
• Follow company safety policies and procedures.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
