About The Position

White Cap is hiring a Rental Yard Associate to help prepare and maintain rental equipment for customers. The role involves cleaning and inspecting equipment, reporting damage, lubricating tools and equipment, and preparing rental orders for delivery. The associate follows company safety policies and may perform other assigned duties. The position requires physical work, including lifting and carrying up to 50 pounds and standing for periods of 60 minutes or longer.

Requirements

• Generally, 0–2 years of experience.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds in a physical environment.
• Ability to stand for periods of up to and exceeding 60 minutes.

Nice To Haves

• Forklift experience.
• Knowledge of construction and industrial products.
• Spanish language proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Remove dirt, concrete, and other debris from rental equipment and the surrounding area using provided hand tools and cleaning equipment.
• Ensure rental equipment is in good, usable condition before it goes to a customer.
• Inspect rental equipment for damage and report damage according to established procedures.
• Oil and lubricate tools, equipment, and tilt-up braces according to specifications.
• Prepare and stage rental orders for delivery.
• Follow company safety policies and procedures.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
