About The Position

White Cap is hiring a Rental Yard Associate to help prepare and maintain rental equipment for customer use. The role involves cleaning equipment and the rental area, inspecting equipment for damage and usability, lubricating tools and equipment, and staging rental orders for delivery. The associate follows company safety policies and procedures and performs other duties as assigned. The work is physical and requires lifting and carrying up to 50 pounds and standing for periods of up to and exceeding 60 minutes. The position generally requires 0–2 years of experience. Forklift experience, knowledge of construction and industrial products, and Spanish proficiency are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Remove dirt, concrete, and other debris from rental equipment and the area using provided hand tools and cleaning equipment.
• Ensure rental equipment is in good, usable condition before it goes to a customer.
• Inspect rental equipment for damage and report damage according to established procedures.
• Oil and lubricate tools, equipment, and tilt-up braces according to specifications.
• Prepare and stage rental orders for delivery.
• Follow company safety policies and procedures.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
