About The Position

White Cap is hiring a Rental Yard Associate to clean and inspect rental equipment, prepare orders for delivery, and follow company safety procedures. The role involves working with hand tools and cleaning equipment to remove dirt, concrete, and other debris from equipment and the work area. Associates ensure equipment is in usable condition, report damage according to established procedures, and oil and lubricate tools, equipment, and tilt-up braces to specifications. The position generally requires 0–2 years of experience and involves physical work, including lifting and carrying up to 50 pounds and standing for periods of 60 minutes or longer.

Requirements

Generally 0–2 years of experience.
Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds in a physical environment.
Ability to stand for periods of up to and exceeding 60 minutes.

Nice To Haves

Ability to work outdoors.
Ability to heavy lift up to 75 pounds.
Ability to safely operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment.
Knowledge of construction and industrial products.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
Knowledge of machines and hand and power tools.
Spanish bilingual skills are a plus.

Responsibilities

Remove dirt, concrete, and other debris from rental equipment and the area using provided hand tools and cleaning equipment.
Ensure rental equipment is in good, usable condition before it goes to customers.
Inspect rental equipment for damage and report damage according to established procedures.
Oil and lubricate tools, equipment, and tilt-up braces according to specifications.
Prepare and stage rental orders for delivery.
Follow company safety policies and procedures.
Perform other duties as assigned.
