About The Position

As the CRS Rental Specialist, you will act as an inside sales person for the Cat Rental Store (CRS), handling customer transactions over the phone and in person. You will help ensure customer satisfaction and maximize machine utilization within the designated trade area. You will also maintain associated paperwork and databases accurately.

Requirements

• Prior sales experience, strong leadership skills, a competitive nature, and initiative.
• Enjoy talking to people, developing customer relationships, and working in a team environment.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Computer skills, including Internet Explorer, Excel, Access, Word, and PowerPoint.
• Ability to comprehend, speak, and write English.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, in person and over the telephone.
• Creative thinking and problem-solving ability.
• Highly organized in a fast-paced work environment.
• Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record.

Nice To Haves

• Bachelor’s degree from a four-year college or university, or related equivalent experience.
• Knowledge of Spanish is preferable but not required.

Responsibilities

• Provide superior customer service and ensure customers are taken care of.
• Determine customers’ needs and help them have the best rental experience possible.
• Check equipment availability with the shop and schedule maintenance to meet deadlines.
• Ensure equipment is delivered and picked up on time to meet customer needs.
• Administer rental agreements, including rental-out and rental-in dates.
• Return equipment in the system by verifying hours and whether fuel is needed.
• Record daily logs of phone calls and customer interactions.
• Handle customer complaints professionally and offer solutions.
• Participate in the required safety program and work safely.
• Complete additional tasks as assigned by management.
