About The Position
The Equipment Rental Specialist is an inside sales role supporting telephone and walk-in customers renting construction and industrial equipment. As a front-line customer contact, the specialist identifies equipment needs, negotiates rental terms, and places orders. The position also requires strong administrative skills and a professional attitude to deliver customer satisfaction. The role offers steady hours, potential overtime, and opportunities to develop skills toward outside sales or operational management.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED.
- Valid driver’s license.
- Familiarity with various types of construction and industrial tools and equipment.
- Strong customer service and telephone skills.
- Solid computer and administrative skills.
- Ability to bend, squat, crouch, reach, and lift 50 pounds or more.
- Ability to work indoors or outdoors when required by the job.
Nice To Haves
- Previous equipment rental industry experience.
- Successful completion of the DOT Qualification process.
- Bilingual ability, such as Spanish, may be preferred in some locations.
