About The Position
The Equipment Rental Specialist is an inside sales role supporting telephone and walk-in customers with rentals of construction and industrial equipment. As a front-line customer contact, the specialist understands equipment needs, negotiates rental terms, and places orders. The position also requires strong administrative skills and a professional attitude to deliver customer satisfaction. The role offers steady hours and potential overtime, with opportunities to develop skills for an outside sales or operational management career track. Sunbelt Rentals provides extensive on-the-job training for eligible employees.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED.
- Valid driver’s license.
- Familiarity with various types of construction and industrial tools and equipment.
- Strong customer service and telephone skills.
- Solid computer and administrative skills.
Nice To Haves
- Previous equipment rental industry experience.
- Successful completion of the DOT Qualification process.
- Bilingual ability, including Spanish or another language, may be preferred in some locations.
