About The Position

As a Rental Shop Technician at Cooper Spur Ski Area, part of Mt. Hood Meadows, you help guests get fitted and prepared for skiing and snowboarding with comfortable, appropriate, and ready-to-use equipment. You provide friendly, efficient service by fitting guests with ski and snowboard boots, equipment, and helmets, and by ensuring rental paperwork is complete and equipment is properly fitted and adjusted. You also prepare equipment for groups and online reservations, maintain a clean and organized workspace, and assist guests with basic resort information. This is a hands-on, guest-facing role in a fast-paced winter environment. It is a part-time, seasonal position.

Requirements

Must be 18 or older.
Able to work weekends, holidays, and evenings.
Must have reliable transportation for winter road conditions.
Ability to perform manual tasks requiring moderate physical strength, including shoveling snow.
Must be comfortable with the changing dynamics of a seasonal business.

Nice To Haves

Basic knowledge of ski and snowboard gear.
Ski and snowboard tuning experience.
Boot fitting experience.
Guest service experience.
