Cooper Spur - Rental Tech
About The Position
As a Rental Shop Technician at Cooper Spur Ski Area, part of Mt. Hood Meadows, you help guests get properly fitted and ready to ski or snowboard with comfortable, appropriate, and ready-to-use equipment. You provide friendly, efficient service while fitting guests with ski and snowboard boots, equipment, and helmets. You help ensure rental paperwork is complete, equipment is properly fitted and adjusted, and guests feel comfortable and confident before heading out. You also prepare equipment for groups and online reservations, maintain a clean and organized workspace, and assist guests with basic resort information. This hands-on, guest-facing position suits someone who enjoys working with people, pays attention to detail, and thrives in a fast-paced winter environment. The position is part-time and seasonal.
Requirements
- Must be 18 or older.
- Able to work weekends, holidays, and evenings.
- Must have reliable transportation for winter road conditions.
- Ability to perform manual tasks requiring moderate physical strength, including shoveling snow.
- Must be comfortable with the changing dynamics of a seasonal business.
