About The Position

The Rental Sales Agent serves as a first point of contact for customers at SIXT’s Ronald Reagan Washington National Airport branch. The role focuses on providing a positive rental experience, understanding customer needs, preparing rental agreements, and recommending vehicle upgrades and additional products and services. The agent works toward sales goals in a performance-based compensation environment and handles customer inquiries professionally. The position pays $19.50 per hour, with uncapped bonuses and an advertised average salary range of $73,440 to $109,440, with unlimited earning potential. Flexible working hours and development opportunities are offered.

Requirements

• Proven sales ability, including upselling and closing experience, with motivation to meet targets and work directly with customers.
• Relevant experience in areas such as retail sales, hospitality sales, banking, B2B, or car rental, along with a service-oriented mindset and a record of building customer relationships.
• Excellent verbal communication skills and comfort with direct customer interaction.
• Comfort working in a commission-driven environment and under pressure.
• Willingness to work various shifts, including nights, weekends, and public holidays, with flexibility in working hours.
• Valid US driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Authorization to work in the US without requiring sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Greet and guide customers through the car rental process, building rapport and identifying their needs.
• Prepare rental agreements.
• Upsell vehicle upgrades, protection packages, fuel options, and additional services.
• Meet and exceed sales goals through upselling and cross-selling.
• Handle customer inquiries promptly and professionally while staying organized and service-oriented.
