About The Position
The Rental Sales Agent serves as a first point of contact for customers at the airport branch, delivering friendly, professional customer service and helping customers find vehicles and rental options that meet their needs. The role involves guiding customers through the rental process, preparing rental agreements, and recommending vehicle upgrades, protection packages, fuel options, and additional services. The agent is expected to meet and exceed sales goals through upselling and cross-selling. Compensation includes an hourly rate of $19.50 and the opportunity to earn uncapped bonuses; the posting states an average salary range of $73,440 to $109,440, with unlimited earning potential. The position requires flexibility to work various shifts, including nights, weekends, and public holidays.
Requirements
- Sales experience with upselling and closing experience, and motivation to work toward targets.
- Customer-facing experience; relevant backgrounds may include retail sales, hospitality sales, banking, B2B, or car rental.
- Excellent verbal communication skills.
- Comfort working in a commission-driven environment and under pressure.
- Willingness to work various shifts, including nights, weekends, and public holidays.
- Valid US driver's license and clean driving record.
- Authorization to work in the US without requiring sponsorship.
Responsibilities
- Greet and guide customers through the car rental process, building rapport and identifying their needs.
