Rental Manager

About The Position

Oversee all rental and used equipment activities while maximizing financial performance. Ensure quality shop work and timely shipment to the customer. Manage buying and selling of equipment, including possible equipment transfers between branches. Manage inventory, maintenance, and depreciation of equipment. Oversee scheduling, delivery, and pickup of all equipment. Develop sales strategies and coordinate with other departments. Set the pricing for used equipment. Maintain direct contact with current and prospective customers. Accompany sales personnel to perform trade-in evaluations at customer facilities. Recruit, select, train, develop, and counsel personnel.

Requirements

2-4 years related experience
Valid driver's license, good driving record, and ability to safely operate lift trucks.

Nice To Haves

Bachelor degree, preferably in Business or Marketing.
Three to five years experience managing a rental/used fleet with lift trucks and batteries preferred.
Strong leadership, communication, time management, and decision-making skills.
Ability to interpret and analyze financial statements and department performance reports.
Good computer skills with a working knowledge of Excel and Word programs
