About The Position

4Rivers Equipment is seeking a full-time Rental Manager in Fort Collins, Colorado, to oversee its equipment rental division and deliver excellent customer service. The role manages rental operations, fleet readiness, departmental performance, and team development. The Rental Manager works with service and sales teams to support equipment maintenance and customer transactions, while overseeing records, compliance, and the rental department budget.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent.
Two years of technical experience in equipment rental or a related field.
Supervisory or leadership experience.
Passion for team development and collaboration.

Responsibilities

Respond to customer rental inquiries and concerns, resolving them promptly and effectively.
Conduct performance evaluations to support team growth and development.
Manage the rental fleet to meet customer demands and maintain operational excellence.
Maintain records for licenses, inspections, and asset management to support compliance and efficiency.
Collaborate with the service department on rental equipment maintenance and upkeep.
Partner with the sales team to identify and secure equipment for customer transactions.
Supervise and mentor the yard coordinator and rental inventory coordinator.
Oversee the rental department budget and optimize resource allocation and profitability.
Build positive relationships with internal stakeholders and customers.
