The selected candidate will be responsible for developing accurate, timely, and profitable estimates and proposals for temporary power, HVAC, compressed air, fluid handling, and specialty rental solutions. This role works closely with sales, operations, dispatch, logistics, and project management teams to design customer-focused solutions and develop competitive project pricing that supports both customer success and company profitability. Requirements

  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Business, or a related field preferred; equivalent industry experience will be considered.
  • 3+ years of experience in estimating, rental operations, project coordination, industrial services, HVAC, power generation, or a related field preferred.
  • Strong mechanical and electrical aptitude.
  • Experience reading blueprints, specifications, and construction documents.
  • Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office applications.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple estimates and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to work effectively with sales, operations, logistics, and project management teams.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with CRM, ERP, dispatch, and estimating software preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Develop estimates, quotations, and proposals for temporary power, cooling, compressed air, fluid handling, and specialty rental projects.
  • Review customer RFQs, drawings, specifications, schedules, and site requirements to determine project scope and equipment needs.
  • Select and size equipment solutions, including generators, chillers, air conditioners, air handlers, transformers, pumps, compressed air equipment, and electrical distribution systems.
  • Estimate rental durations, freight requirements, fuel consumption, startup labor, commissioning costs, monitoring services, and demobilization activities.
  • Develop pricing for equipment, labor, transportation, subcontractors, consumables, and project support services.
  • Coordinate temporary power and cooling accessories, including cables, hoses, ductwork, pumps, glycol systems, and distribution equipment.
  • Develop backup equipment and contingency recommendations to support project reliability and customer requirements.
  • Coordinate with operations, dispatch, logistics, and project management teams to verify equipment availability and scheduling.
  • Review freight routes, transportation requirements, delivery schedules, and site access limitations.
  • Support project mobilization and demobilization planning activities.
  • Prepare customer-facing proposals, including scopes of work, pricing summaries, schedules, exclusions, clarifications, and terms and conditions.
  • Ensure proposals align with company pricing strategies, margin objectives, and operational capabilities.
  • Conduct site visits and gather operational requirements when necessary.
  • Support sales presentations, customer meetings, and technical discussions.
  • Maintain estimate records, pricing databases, customer information, and proposal tracking systems.
  • Track proposal activity, win/loss data, and project margin performance.
