About The Position

MAC.BID buys truckloads of customer returns and overstock products and sells the items individually to the public through online auctions. The Removal Team Lead is a hands-on supervisor who oversees associates assisting customers with picking up their items. Positions reporting to this role include scan-in/out, removal, and inventory. The position reports to the General Manager (GM). The role is full-time, salaried, and non-exempt, and is performed on-site Monday through Friday from 9:45 a.m. to 6:15 p.m.

Requirements

Must be available to work on-site Monday through Friday, 9:45 a.m. to 6:15 p.m.
Must be able to lift 25 pounds alone and 50 pounds with a team lift.
Must be able to follow written directions and company policies.
Must be customer-focused.

Nice To Haves

High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
Forklift certification may be required based on business needs.

Responsibilities

Assist customers in locating their items according to the racking system.
Scan customers into the pick-up queue and scan them out when merchandise leaves the warehouse.
Provide each customer with a great experience.
Serve as the subject matter expert on all positions within the department.
Ensure each team member receives adequate training.
Lead the removal team in meeting goals necessary for company growth.
Communicate effectively with the GM about matters requiring escalation.
Adjust, approve, and submit team timesheets.
Determine disciplinary action for policy violations with the GM and deliver the message to the team member.
Provide input to the GM during the evaluation process.
Coordinate and communicate effectively with the supervisory team.
Obtain and maintain forklift certification if required based on business needs.
