Removal Team Lead
About The Position
MAC.BID buys truckloads of customer returns and overstock products and sells the items individually to the public through online auctions. The Removal Team Lead is an on-site, hands-on supervisor who oversees associates assisting customers with picking up their items. Positions reporting to this role include scan-in/out, removal, and inventory. The position reports to the General Manager (GM). It is full-time, salaried, and non-exempt. Schedules may vary Monday through Friday by location and consist of 8-hour shifts with a 30-minute lunch break; hours are determined by workload and management.
Requirements
- Must be available to work on-site.
- Must be able to lift 25 pounds alone and 50 pounds with a team lift.
- Must be able to follow written directions and company policies.
- Must be customer-focused.

- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
Responsibilities
- Assist customers in finding items using the company’s racking system.
- Scan customers into the pick-up queue and scan them out when merchandise leaves the warehouse.
- Provide each customer with a great experience.
- Serve as the subject matter expert on all positions within the department.
- Ensure each team member receives adequate training.
- Ensure the removal team meets goals necessary for company growth.
- Communicate effectively with the GM about matters requiring escalation.
- Adjust, approve, and submit team timesheets.
- Determine disciplinary action for policy violations with the GM and deliver the message to the team member.
- Provide input to the GM during the evaluation process.
- Coordinate and communicate effectively with the supervisory team.
- Obtain and maintain forklift certification if required based on business needs.
