About The Position

As a Laundry Attendant, you will process laundry by either washing, or pressing according to department standards and procedures. Use laundry equipment as per instruction and maintain them in a proper state of cleanliness. As a responsible Delivery Driver to distribute linen promptly to our customers. You will represent our company in a professional and cost-effective manner to increase our customer satisfaction. Your time will be spent 4 days in production and 1 day driving.

Requirements

• Ability to work cohesively with fellow colleagues as part of a team
• Ability to work under pressure in a fast paced environment
• Must be fluent in English
• Excellent organizational skills and time management
• Valid class 5 drivers license required and a drivers abstract upon hiring will be conducted
• Proven working experience as a Delivery Driver
• Excellent organizational and time management skills
• Good driving record with no traffic violations.
• Alberta Drivers Abstract(company will reimburse if one needs to be provided)
• High school diploma
• Applicants must be legally eligible to work in Canada.

Nice To Haves

• Air brakes preferred, but will train

Responsibilities

• Consistently offer professional, friendly and engaged service
• Carry out various functions within the laundry facility
• Operate various laundry commercial equipment
• Attention to quality of items being processed in the machinery
• Following all company policy and procedures and working in a safe manner
• Deliver linen to different hotels and through different routes
• Follow routes and time schedule
• Load, unload, prepare, inspect and operate a delivery vehicle
• Ask for feedback on provided services and resolve clients’ complaints
• Complete logs and reports
