About The Position

The Laundry Attendant supports the hotel's guest experience by ensuring guest linens, towels, pool and spa linens, and uniforms are clean, fresh, and ready on time. The role serves Curio by Hilton at Faro Blanco Resort Yacht Club in Marathon, Florida, and contributes to guest room cleanliness and housekeeping service. The attendant follows company and brand standards, maintains a professional appearance, and works safely with commercial laundry equipment and chemicals. The position is full-time and reports to the Executive Housekeeper or Housekeeping Supervisor.

Requirements

• High school diploma, GED, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Knowledge of chemical safety and PPE requirements.
• Strong work ethic and a detail-oriented, hands-on approach.
• Ability to work as part of a team and balance workloads under time pressure.
• Personal accountability and pride in results.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and reach for extended periods and lift and carry linen bundles up to 40 pounds.
• Flexibility to work early mornings, weekends, and holidays.

Nice To Haves

• Hotel laundry or housekeeping experience; willingness to be trained on commercial laundry equipment.
• Experience in upscale or full-service resort hospitality, including Hilton.

Responsibilities

• Display hospitality, professionalism, and respect toward guests, vendors, and co-workers.
• Comply with company service and brand standards and complete required training.
• Maintain a clean, neat appearance, including a complete uniform and name tag.
• Collect, sort, wash, dry, fold, and press guest room, pool, and spa linens, towels, and uniforms.
• Operate commercial washers, dryers, and ironers safely and efficiently, following manufacturer and safety instructions.
• Treat stains and inspect linens for damage; set aside items for re-washing, repair, or replacement.
• Measure and use laundry chemicals correctly and follow chemical safety and PPE requirements.
• Deliver clean linens to housekeeping storerooms and carts on schedule and rotate linen stock.
• Track linen inventory and par levels and notify the supervisor of shortages.
• Keep the laundry area, equipment, and lint traps clean, organized, and safe.
• Report equipment problems and write maintenance orders as needed.
• Turn in articles found in linens to management for Lost and Found handling.
• Maintain safe working conditions and security and follow safety and emergency procedures.
• Keep the supervisor promptly informed of problems or unusual matters of significance.
