About The Position

PENN Entertainment is hiring a Laundry Attendant to provide customer service and support laundry operations. The role involves operating laundry equipment, processing and organizing linens and towels, maintaining inventory records, and assisting with washing and sorting as requested. The position requires physical mobility, lifting, and maneuvering carts in a busy work environment with varying noise levels. Prior laundry experience is preferred.

Requirements

• Ability to feed a flatwork ironer and stack sheets.
• Ability to feed a towel-folding machine.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to maneuver a train of carts, each weighing up to 600 pounds when loaded, using a cart engine through congested areas and for distances up to one-half mile.
• Physical mobility.
• Effective communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide superior customer service and interact positively with customers and employees, including handling difficult customers and working harmoniously with coworkers.
• Operate a flatwork iron; sort, feed, and pull linens; and catch, fold, stack, and bundle items using a tying machine.
• Sort and load towels onto linen carts.
• Stack linens onto shelves.
• Maintain inventory control, item counts, and associated records.
• Assist as a washer or sorter as requested.
