About The Position

The hotel team is seeking a Laundry Attendant to join its Housekeeping team. The role is responsible for ensuring linens, towels, and other textiles are cleaned, pressed, and ready for use by guests and staff. The attendant supports laundry-room operations, maintains supplies and cleanliness, provides other laundry services as needed, and communicates with leaders and team members about day-to-day operations. The role requires regular, consistent attendance, attention to personal, staff, and guest safety, and reporting incidents promptly.

• Must be able to work days, nights, weekends, and holidays.

Nice To Haves

• Prior cleaning or laundry experience is preferred.
• Additional education, training, or certification is preferred.
• An excellent record of hotel experience.

Responsibilities

• Wash, clean, dry, and fold hotel linen and laundry items.
• Sort laundry items according to material and color.
• Arrange clothes in the laundry room according to specifications.
• Wrap laundry items for pickup or delivery.
• Update the laundry list and record it daily.
• Assist fellow laundry attendants with loading and unloading washers and dryers.
• Maintain and regularly update inventory of detergents, sewing machines, detergent cakes, and other supplies.
• Provide other laundry services as required.
• Participate actively in keeping the laundry room and appropriate facilities clean.
• Maintain knowledge of hotel products, services, and facilities.
• Communicate effectively with leaders and team members about day-to-day operations.
• Maintain regular and consistent attendance and punctuality.
• Promote personal, staff, and guest safety and report incidents in a timely manner.
