Laundry Attendant
About The Position
Casa Del Mar Resort is hiring a Laundry Attendant to operate laundry equipment and help maintain clean, organized linen areas. The role includes weighing, washing, drying, and folding linens; sorting items and identifying linen that needs to be rewashed; and transporting clean and dirty linen between Operations and the Buildings. Other duties may be assigned by leadership. The position requires working varied days and shifts, including weekends and/or holidays, and completing an eight-hour shift involving walking and standing. Requirements
- Be flexible to work varied days and shifts, including weekends and/or holidays.
- Be able to work a full eight-hour shift walking and standing, with or without reasonable accommodation.
- Be able to bend, stoop, walk, and lift, push, or pull up to 100 pounds, with or without reasonable accommodation.
Nice To Haves
- Previous hospitality industry experience.
- Six to twelve months of experience in this or a related job.
- High school diploma or GED.
Responsibilities
- Operate weighing scales, professional washers and dryers, and folders.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, including sorted clean and dirty linen.
- Fold and sort a variety of linens and terry items.
- Identify items that need to be rewashed, separate them, and load them into bins.
- Transport clean and dirty linen to and from Operations and the Buildings.
- Perform other duties as assigned by leadership.
