About The Position

Austin Financial Services, Inc., a division of Stearns Bank N.A., is currently looking for a Relationship Manager. This is a connected mobile role. The Relationship Manager is responsible for managing and developing relationships with clients to understand and impact their financial growth goals. The Relationship Manager is the primary contact for clients, providing a high level of service and support. This role serves as a trusted advisor and plays a pivotal role in fostering partnerships and driving business growth.

Requirements

  • Literacy in English.
  • Ability to sit for extended periods of time, twist, bend, sit, walk, use hands to twist, handle or feel objects, tools or controls, such as computer mouse, computer keyboard, calculator, stapler, telephone, staple puller, etc., reach with hands and arms, balance, stoop, kneel, talk or hear.
  • Specific vision abilities required by the job includes close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus.

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Economics or a related field from four-year college or university.
  • 5 -7 years of relevant experience in business development and client management.
  • Comprehensive understanding of financial industry trends and market dynamics to drive growth and execute business development strategies.
  • Demonstrated ability to build and maintain relationships with clients, partners, and stakeholders.
  • Excellent verbal, written and problem-solving skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and applicable software platforms.

Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective clients to understand their needs and preferences to provide sound advice.
  • Understand the clients financial goals and recommend appropriate financial solutions.
  • Monitor client portfolios, prepare and present proposals to strengthen accounts.
  • Develop customized solutions to address client concerns and enhance client satisfaction.
  • Identify development efforts to generate new business opportunities and drive revenue growth.
  • Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve sales target and maximize profitability.
  • Conduct due diligence and risk assessments to evaluate client portfolios.
  • Ensure compliance with banking regulations and industry standards.
  • Other duties as assigned from SVP, CEO or CRO.
