About The Position

United Bank is hiring a full-time Relationship Banker for its Caledonia, Michigan branch. The role is the first point of contact for customers and focuses on building relationships by helping customers meet their financial objectives. The banker assists with banking needs such as processing transactions, managing accounts, referring customers to affiliates, and completing general office and banking tasks. The role also contributes to the customer experience by making loans, opening new accounts, cross-selling services, and resolving problems. Building customer relationships supports account retention. The position includes compliance responsibilities related to the role and may involve special projects or additional duties. Requirements

One-year certificate from a college or technical school; 3 to 6 months of related experience and/or training; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Ability to build relationships, follow instructions, learn new tasks, and follow up.
