About The Position

United Bank is seeking a full-time Relationship Banker for its Caledonia, Michigan branch. This role is often the first impression customers have of the bank and focuses on building relationships by helping customers meet their financial objectives. The banker assists with banking needs such as processing transactions, managing accounts, referring customers to affiliates, and completing general office and banking tasks. The position also involves making loans, opening new accounts, cross-selling services, and resolving problems to provide a strong customer experience and support account retention. The role includes compliance responsibilities and may involve special projects or additional duties.

Requirements

One-year certificate from a college or technical school, 3 to 6 months of related experience and/or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Ability to build relationships, follow instructions, learn new tasks, and follow up.

Responsibilities

Build relationships with customers and help them meet their financial objectives.
