Requirements

High school diploma or GED.
Ability to work Saturdays as needed.
Ability to handle cash and process cash transactions.
Ability to communicate in person, by phone, and through electronic channels.
Ability to use a computer frequently, including typing and maintaining sustained attention to a monitor.
Ability to walk and stand for extended periods.
Ability to lift up to 20 pounds.
Ability to adhere to policies, procedures, and guidelines.
Ability to assist customers with digital banking offerings.
Ability to handle multiple priorities simultaneously.
Ability to oversee large sums of cash.
Strong customer focus and relationship-building skills.

Responsibilities

Provide a consistent customer experience on the cash line and process deposits, withdrawals, payments, and other typical teller transactions.
Answer customer inquiries about products and services and fulfill basic servicing requests, including card requests, information changes, PIN resets, check reorders, and basic problem resolution.
Develop customer relationships and remain informed about customers’ relationships with the bank.
Educate customers on standard consumer products and digital banking solutions, including mobile, online, and ATM offerings.
Assist branch and team members with basic tasks to resolve customer issues.
Refer customers to internal experts when complex financial goals or needs are identified.
Follow bank processes and procedures and applicable laws and regulations; complete duties assigned by the Branch Manager and help ensure sound banking practices, including identifying and reporting operational risks.
Contribute to branch targets and goals by identifying customer needs and providing guidance about Regions’ solutions.
May make outbound calls to customers and prospects using generated lead lists to explain emerging technology and help meet financial needs.
