About The Position

Centra Credit Union is hiring a full-time Relationship Advisor I at its location inside Walmart in Scottsburg, Indiana. The position engages Members in meaningful conversations and advises them on lending and financial products and services to create value. It educates and counsels Members on financial solutions, performs Member account transactions as needed in Retail Operations, and contributes to branch safety and security in compliance with policies and procedures. The role follows a Learning Path to develop skills while progressing from Relationship Advisor I through Relationship Advisor III. Team Members may remain in a Relationship Advisor III role or pursue further development in Retail Operations or another career path. The starting wage is $24.42 per hour. Eligible positions offer a comprehensive benefits package; Spanish/English interpreters may be eligible for an interpreting differential.

Requirements

High School Diploma or General Education Diploma (GED).
A minimum of one year up to three years of similar or related experience, including preparatory experience.

Responsibilities

Engage Members during discussions and transactions, educating and advising them on products, services, and lending.
Proactively help Members solve problems by providing immediate, thoughtful consultation and tailored solutions.
Maintain and develop subject matter expertise in products, services, problem solving, and financial literacy to support Member engagement.
Perform Member account transactions to meet periodic needs in Retail Operations.
Contribute to branch safety and security in compliance with policy and procedure.
Participate in the required Learning Path for continued development and growth and obtain Centra certification.
