About The Position
The Rehabilitation Aide supports outpatient rehabilitation services by assisting licensed Physical Therapists, Occupational Therapists, and Speech-Language Pathologists in providing age-appropriate patient care. The role also provides administrative support to therapists and performs general departmental duties as needed.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association.
- Strong communication and time management skills.
- Familiarity with medical terminology.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities efficiently.
Nice To Haves
- Prior experience in an outpatient rehabilitation patient care setting.
Responsibilities
- Assist therapists with patient treatment under direct supervision.
- Provide an additional set of hands during therapy sessions when needed.
- Perform general administrative support tasks for therapists.
- Maintain a clean and safe patient care environment.
- Ensure equipment is properly maintained and supplies are readily available.
