About The Position
Baptist Health is hiring an adult Rehab Technician to support its Outpatient Rehab Team at the Baptist Beaches outpatient clinic in Jacksonville Beach, Florida. The technician assists physical therapists, occupational therapists, and speech-language pathologists in delivering patient care. The role includes direct patient care, transporting patients to and from treatments, assisting with treatments, clerical duties, maintenance, and cleaning and sanitizing the work area.
Requirements
- High school diploma or higher.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association.
Nice To Haves
- One or more years of outpatient Rehab Technician experience.
- Patient care experience.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care.
- Transport patients to and from treatments.
- Assist physical therapists, occupational therapists, and speech-language pathologists with patient treatments.
- Perform clerical duties and maintenance.
- Clean and sanitize the work area.
