About The Position

Preferred Therapy Solutions is hiring a full-time Rehab Director / Physical Therapist for its sub-acute/skilled nursing rehabilitation department in Ridgefield, Connecticut. The role combines administrative supervision and management of rehabilitation operations with providing physical therapy services as needed. The director plans and implements rehabilitation programs and procedures to optimize patient outcomes, monitors admissions, schedules, MDS assessment periods and data, and mentors rehabilitation staff. The position offers a $10,000 sign-on or relocation bonus and an hourly rate range of $45 to $55.

Requirements

• Be a licensed physical therapist or license eligible in the state where employed.
• Have experience as a treating therapist in a skilled nursing facility setting.

Responsibilities

• Ensure efficient and effective rehabilitation operations.
• Plan and implement rehabilitation programs and procedures to optimize patient outcomes.
• Monitor patient admissions, schedules, MDS assessment periods, and data.
• Provide administrative rehabilitation supervision.
• Serve as a rehabilitation staff mentor.
• Provide physical therapy services as needed.
