About The Position

Norco is seeking a Rehab Coordinator to coordinate Rehab team equipment set-ups and staff scheduling. The coordinator serves as a liaison between Norco ATPs, Rehab Specialists and Technicians, customers, and referral sources, helping resolve questions and problems and maintain excellent communication. The role also supports rehab sales and customer service activities as needed.

Requirements

High school graduate or equivalent.
Ability to work with a diverse group of people in a caring, personable manner.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including phone demeanor.
Excellent office skills, including Microsoft Office.
Ability to learn new equipment and technologies quickly.
Excellent problem-solving skills.
Ability to perform multiple tasks.
Ability to sit for extended periods.
Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations.

Responsibilities

Coordinate team schedules and patient set-ups, and answer and route communications from rehab staff and patients.
Schedule rehab staff to optimize workflows.
Work with patients, physicians, therapists, and referral sources to optimize customers’ equipment needs.
Understand payer requirements for equipment and clearly communicate them to customers.
Perform insurance verification and obtain documentation needed for equipment coverage.
Stay informed about industry updates and Medicare changes, particularly those related to rehab.
Assist with rehab sales support and in-services within a defined region, as necessary.
Assist customer service staff in coordinating rehab-related discharges.
Perform other tasks as assigned or necessary.
