Inpatient Rehab Unit - Rehab Aide - Relief
About The Position
The Rehab Aide works under the general supervision of the Site Leader and the direct supervision of Rehabilitation Services' Therapists and Therapist Assistants. The role supports rehabilitation treatment by preparing and cleaning treatment areas, obtaining supplies, transporting and positioning patients or clients, and assisting patients, therapists, and therapist assistants with therapy treatment plans. The aide may also perform routine clerical tasks that support patient care. Work is performed in accordance with facility, departmental, regulatory, and payer policies, procedures, and guidelines. The Rehab Aide participates in performance improvement and program development activities, including providing input into budget planning, contributing to cost-effective services, and maintaining positive relations with customers.
Requirements
- High school graduate.
- Strong customer service skills.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and clean treatment areas.
